All the key services from the directorate, over and above those provided to meet statutory requirements or to meet current requirements of the County Council, are offered here for schools’ consideration. We hope the common format and general details will help schools and governors to make a clear and informed choice to meet their school’s needs. Many services can be provided for partnerships instead of for individual schools – please do not hesitate to contact the lead people for each scheme in order to clarify your needs and how they might be met through a particular scheme.

Our rationale for trading in the current context is:

• to be as cost-effective and as comprehensive as possible in working with schools, by running traded, statutory and core work alongside each other, and
• to ensure the quality of the products and to give ‘value–added’ service through this integrated way of working
